If you’re after adventure, some family fun or a chance to spot signs of spring blossoming this Easter, join us at Dyffryn Gardens over the holidays to see where your imagination can take you. Bunny has hidden his precious chocolate treats from us and it's up to you and your family to follow the clues to help us find it. Hunt high and low around the beautiful, spring gardens to find the clues that will lead you to your Cadbury treat at the end.

About the location
Join the adventure this Easter and get close to nature as you set out to explore meadows, magnificent lawns and intricate garden rooms. Head into the arboretum and go wild in The Log Stack, our natural play area made entirely from trees felled as part of our restoration work. You and your kids can balance along enormous trees, jump from log to log along the stepping stones and have a picnic on our hand-carved picnic stumps. Be sure to visit the mansion to try some crafts or I-Spy and learn all about our work protecting and preserving this special place. Every hop, skip and jump this Easter supports Dyffryn’s revival.

We are expecting to be very busy over the Easter weekend but don't worry, we have put all we can in place to make sure that you won't have to wait too long for your hunt sheets and lunch. Our main car park adjacent to the Visitor Centre will be reserved for priority parking, freeing up as many accessible spaces as possible to those that need them most. We will make use of our fields and overflow parking and ask that visitors park considerately and efficiently as bays are not marked. If you have young ones that may struggle with waiting times in our cafés, we recommend bringing a picnic and a blanket, but please take your rubbish away with you. The Cadbury Egg Hunt is along a wheelchair and pram-friendly route. We will have a limited number of non-chocolate prizes available for children who can't eat chocolate. If you finish the trail after 3:30pm, you can still collect your prize from the Visitor Centre on your way home.
